1. How old is EbonyWing?

first started out as a website for an chatroom on a server, about 4 years ago. It used to be "Feathers and Halo's" before Moonlight renamed it, "Of light and dark", after that her hosting company disappeared along with the name which was changed to EbonyWing.

2. What does the name mean?

Quite simply, it means Black Wings, or the colour of wings, in other words take a good look at the ravens littered about the site and they have, Ebony Wings.

3. Are the webmistresses insane?

Insane is far to a soft word for us, but in most cases they can be pretty much off our their rockers and scare witless most people who happen to be about at the time. A little weird is more easily to describe them as, they cackle at burning easter chicks, laugh over other peoples misery and worship an giant chicken. There is no limit to their twisted minds, they're just waiting for a place in the mental institute, i think they will like it to much :)

4. Woah..so many layouts?!

Yeah, its spontanious im afraid, Nishi is prone to just leaping about screaming "layouts layouts" whilst Notepad lays open and stares at it for hours on end till finally one summons a divine layout. As with artsist we both need inspiration, afterall beautiful and complicated layouts come from the ability to fantasize it. Mainly because Enishi changes her mind a lot, and whenever a new layout is made (We tie her up..beat with sticks untill she makes another layout) it either goes into "Downloads" or saved for future use on another website or upgrading this one.

5. Wtf...a Squirrel?!

Yeah, im a squirrel, im the only one with enough brain capacity out of these two, to actually answer your Questions. They force me to type 9 hours a day, 360 days a year. But at least im fed well, and if i do a good enough Job i get a bag of nuts.

6. How do i obtain permission to use images/codes here?

Im afraid personal, and images stated are not to be used without either Enishi, or Moonlight's permission. To obtain this, you must first E-mail them, asking exactly which image your using, why you wish to use it and where it will be shown, they may ask you to link back to this website when displaying copyrights. If you fail to do this..you will be in a lot of trouble, Trust me..you don't want two angry wenches lifting you up by the tail and holding over a dogs head >;>

7. Can i have a nice layout made?

If you wish us to make you a specific layout designed for you only, you should contact either Enishi or Moonlight. Depending on the layout you require, whilst Enishi makes Simple, clean and sometimes technical websites, her designs are mainly for the advanced HTML/PHP user, so previous knowledge is required. But if you require an nicely graphictised layout, which relies on CSs/Tables/Mapping and Layers then Moonlight should be your choice, as her layouts are the easiest to navigate and almost any user can modify it to their wish.

8. Do i have to pay?

Thankfully, no. The designs may be used free of charge as long as some form of Copyright is left on the layout, if your inspired to make a similar one, they'd appreciate an mentioning also. Enishi & Moonlight spend a lot of time working on and Designing these free layouts just for you to use and dont expect much back, a link isnt much now is it?

9. How long will my layout take?

You must understand that Enishi & Moonlight are very busy people (which is why im here), Enishi sadly works 5 days a week and is often nackered when she comes home, whilst Moonlight works late nights and goes to Uni rest of the time. They will try to slot your website into their busy schedule, and will keep you posted on the progress. The layout you wish can also be time consuming, dependent on the specifications supplied, some layouts can take 1-2 days (simple) and more complicated ones can take up to 5 days.

10. Where do they get their inspiration from? Can i be as l33t?

I'll have to ask them myself, hold on *pokes with stick*
Enishi: huh..? oh.. inspiration..umm..mine is a lot harder to come by, its like a decent bloke..they only come along once in a lifetime and when they do..there either gay or married. ~.~' I must say..im inspired the most when im actually seeing something, to see an image and go "now that will look good on a layout", it can also be whenever im outside and i see with my eyes, an image..an dream and i just seem to create it, without stopping..late into the night untill i can no longer see the screen. What is my strength is also my weakness, its sometimes undescribable whenever i start an layout..i dont think about it...i just do it.
